Former Super Eagles goalkeeper, Peter Rufai, is reportedly nursing an undisclosed ailment in an unnamed hospital.
The 49-year-old national team safe-hands during Nigeria’s 1994 Nations Cup victory in Tunisia recently lost his mother and this development is quite saddening.
The goalkeeper’s brother, Bruce Rufai, reportedly asked Nigerians to pray for Rufai’s speedy recovery, “We rushed him to Toki Hospital where he is now. The doctors are doing everything possible although they don’t know yet what the real cause of the slump is, he is currently in the hospital and needs our prayers” he said.
